Wildrose Coffee Roasting was founded in 2018 to redefine coffee culture with a grounded, authentic approach. Tasked by Mash Strategy to single-handedly craft an identity that would propel Wildrose to its next evolution, I set out to create a brand that is as unpretentious as it is visually impactful. Inspired by the rugged beauty of Alberta, Wildrose speaks to those everyday moments made memorable by a truly authentic brew.
The brand identity centers around a refined yet distinctive logo inspired by Alberta’s iconic wild rose, embodying resilience and natural elegance. The minimalistic brandmark is designed for effortless recognition across diverse applications, blending local symbolism with timeless appeal. An earthy, subdued color palette and carefully curated typography create a modern, approachable tone while ensuring premium shelf presence, allowing the brand’s ethos to resonate visually with a sophisticated, yet accessible aesthetic.
